After receiving accolades in school for his teleplay Final Transference about two college students who use their telekinetic powers with deadly consequences, Steve realized he had a knack for writing. He’s received international recognition, winning a Quarterfinalist award in the world-renowned Scriptapalooza writing contest for a Two and a Half Men script and is also a published children’s writer. His love of the horror genre began long ago while watching Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents reruns on television and has never waned. With the publishing of his first short-story anthology Palette of the Improbable Steve has returned to the genre in full force, combining his love of stories with surprise-endings and his appreciation of the morbid and macabre. Steve is a dedicated husband, contented father of a toddler and a non-voluntary scratching post to their cat, Blueberry. He finds his writing inspiration in the curve balls of everyday life and in the wonderment of the unknown.
